1937 Purolator Oil Filter Sales Folder. Original.
Shows what takes place inside your engine and promotes the use of the Purolator Filter.
The Purolator cartridge, through which the oil flows continuously as the motor operates, collects all dirt and fine particles of foreign substances that find their way into the oil or lubricating system.
After 8,000 miles of operation the Purolator cartridge becomes loaded with this mass of dirt and can no longer function, which means that the oil is not then being filtered and that newly collected dirt and foreign substances are getting into the motor.
Therefore, to continue to get the protection and benefits afforded by the Purolator in filtering your oil, you MUST replace the old cartridge with a new one.
Condition: Really good shape for its age.
