1938-1939 Federal with Boyertown Truck Body Press Photo. Mowrer's Milk. Original with linen backing. Bethlehem, PA.
Clifton Mowrer, owned Mowrer's Dairy, a Bethlehem dairy farm. In 1929, Clifton Mowrer opened The Cup, which the family later sold. The Cup became a landmark ice cream parlor in the city (much like Central Dairy in Jefferson City, MO, for those in our neck of the woods) which carries on today as The Cup Bethlehem Dairy Store. Often just called "The Cup" as the original shape of the store was that of a large milkshake cup.
Reproduction photo printed on high quality, high gloss, acid free base stock photographic paper. Paper size is 8" x 10". Original scanned photo paper was 8" x 10" as well. Original photo may have had borders, etc, and thus the image itself may be smaller than paper size. Great reproduction of an original image. A memorabilia piece suitable for framing/displaying.
