1953 Buick Service Shop Repair Manual. ORIGINAL
This manual furnishes service information on those items in 1953 models which are different from 1952 models. Where design and service procedures are identical with 1952 models, reference is made to the appropriate section of the 1952 Buick Shop Manual.
For complete service information reference also should be made to B.P.S. (Buick Product Service) Bulletins which are issued to authorized dealers whenever product changes are made, or supplementary service information seems necessary.
A GM authorized manual that would have been used by a shop technician in their everyday duties of servicing/maintaining and repairing new and used vehicles of the time period. It gives short cuts and methods for the care and maintenance of Buick vehicles in simplistic terms. Note: These manuals were never meant as restoration manuals, as that is not within the regular scope of work done by dealership service departments.
