1964 White Truck with Tanker Trailer Press Photo. Chemical Leaman Tank Lines, Inc. 

In 1913, B. F. Leaman formed a small trucking company with his son. They initially hauled milk and lime. In 1930 they added fuel to the list when they purchased Mileage Motor Corporation. Success continued and in 1933 they formed the Leaman Transportation Company.

Further success led to other additions and eventually becoming Chemical Leaman Tank Lines in 1961.

In 1998, Chemical Leaman combined with Montgomery Tank Lines essentially bringing about what today is Quality Distribution, Inc. (QDI).
