1965 VW Presenting Americas Slowest Fastback Sales Brochure.
Promotes the VW Beetle, as well as the Station Wagon and Karmann Ghia.
The Station Wagon is pictured with the entire population of Jiggs, Nevada (5). Supposedly it was noted years ago by a newspaper reporter that a resident said, "It's a good place to grow old. A school, a service station, a post office, and a bar. What else do you need for a town?"
The Station Wagon and the population of Jiggs was also featured in a tv commercial at the time. Looks like as of the 2000 census the population of Jiggs, Nevada has dropped to 2. Not sure how many dogs.
With a Beetle in tow stating, "What if it poops out in Paducah?" on the back cover it also promotes service centers across the United States.
Condition: Some light soiling on cover from handling/age. Rusty staples.
