GMC diesel-powered Aluminum Tilts are more versatile than ever, thanks to the addition of two new, 4-cycle Toro-Flow V-8's for 1966. Models equipped with the Toro-Flow D-637 engine weigh 600 pounds less than the lightest 48-inch available up till now. Power output is approximately equal to that of the more expensive six-cylinder, 2-cycle diesel. Peak horsepower is produced at a higher engine rpm, permitting a greater selection of axle ratios for faster road speeds. All in all, you'll find four Aluminum Tilt Series and nine diesel engines with just enough differences in specifications to let you meet your exact job requirements.
