1973 Ford Truck Preliminary Service Shop Repair Manual. ORIGINAL
Developed by Ford Motor Company, this manual provides the Service Technician with information on service operations which are new or revised for the 1973 models. It is an iterim publication, and, used in conjunction with the appropriate 1972 Shop Manual and Specification Book (neither of those included), will give the Technician the information needed to service 1973 models.
Appropriate service methods and procedures are essential for the safe, reliable operation of all motor vehicles as well as the personal safety of the individual doing the work. This manual provides general directions for performing service with tested, effective techniques. Following them will help assure reliability. There are numerous variations in procedure, techniques, tools and parts for servicing vehicles, as well as in the skill of the individual doing the work. This manual cannot possibly anticipate all such variations and provide advice or cautions as to each. The descriptions and specifications contained in the manual were in effect at the time of publication. Note: These manuals were never meant as restoration manuals, as that is not within the regular scope of work done by dealership service departments.

Condition: Service Manuals are used in Dealership Shops, Independent Garages and in Fleet Environments and thus can reflect such use, most often showing extensive signs of soiling, age, and wear. This is not a coffee table book. This volume has a some soiling on the cover and the outside page edges. There is a tear along spine at the bottom. Internal pages look to be free of soiling for the most part. With this type of book it is the content that reigns supreme and the information within is still legible and can give valuable insight into the care and maintenance of a vehicle. The images shown are reflective of the of kind of condition one might find of manuals that are shipped.
